“Reconoce” (Recognise) is a project led by the Confederation of Don Bosco Youth Centres in collaboration with the Didania Federation and ASDE Scouts of Spain, who have come together to value volunteers who work in the area of extracurricular education in order to raise awareness among the business community, and society in general, of the skills acquired by volunteers and to improve the employability of young people. The three youth organisations together account for almost 15,000 volunteers.

  • The Confederation of Don Bosco Youth Centres of Spain is the organisation leading the project. The Don Bosco Confederation is an association that works alongside Federations and Youth Centres in defence and promotion of childhood and youth, in particular where at risk of exclusion, through youth participation and the Don Bosco educational method. The Don Bosco Confederation is currently comprised of 9 Federations that act in 14 Autonomous Communities and account for 126 Youth Centres. We rely on close to 3,521 volunteers. What's more, 127 contracted employees assist approximately 66,665 beneficiaries across our diverse range of programmes and actions. If you would like to find out more about us, please visit us at www.confedonbosco.org

  • ASDE Scouts of Spain is a plural, voluntary non-profit organisation that has been present in Spain for more than 100 years. As part of the World Scout Organisation (the largest voluntary youth movement in the world) we are present in all sectors of society, contributing to the creation of a better, more just and equitable world. We believe that education is everything and that's why we work to educate boys and girls and young people aged 6 to 21 with the aim of contributing to their overall development, through values such as solidarity, caring for the environment, respect for human rights and understanding between individuals and peoples, etc. We carry out extracurricular activities designed and implemented by educators, trainers and graduates, young and old, on a voluntary basis. They give us their time, their hopes and their know-how. ASDE forms part of a global educational movement to which more than 30 million people, young and old, belong, sharing a system of values and the desire to build a better world.  If you would like to find out more about us, please visit us at www.scout.es

  • Didania is a federation of Christian extracurricular entities whose mission is to coordinate work on extracurricular education, sociocultural animation and volunteering, building a network to become involved in society in a style, and with critical and transformative values, in line with the message of the Gospel. Founded in 1977 as the Federation of Children’s Extracurricular Education Schools, it has developed into a federal platform that currently brings together both training entities and networks of extracurricular centres. If you would like to find out more about us, please visit us at www.didania.org
